This week has been a productive one in the studio. Finished and started several pieces. These are all in various stages of completeness but thought I’d share with you all anyway.

This post represents the process of this painting.

Completed Advent 2 Painting. Isaiah 40: “Listen! It’s the voice of someone shouting, “Clear the way through the wilderness for the Lord! Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God! Fill in the valleys, and level the mountains and hills. Straighten the curves, and smooth out the rough places. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The Lord has spoken!”

This is the current state of the Advent #2 painting. It will continue to develop throughout this week before it’s presentation next Sunday at 11:30a.

For the mountains may move

and the hills disappear,
