We’re working on the development of the CongoSister.org site. CongoSister.org is the web site for American Bible Society’s “She’s My Sister” program. She’s My Sister is a trauma healing and food provision program currently working in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Here’s what I’ve been messing around with today. We’re trying to come up with a concept direction for our 2010 National Bible Sunday Campaign. This year: Read, Reflect, Respond. My thinking behind these directions is that ideally once the participant finishes reading he/she will reflect and that reflection will lead to a response. The response focus for this campaign is responding to poverty and justice issues. That aspect will be flushed out further throughout the collateral. These directions focus on the read/reflect/respond coming together and creating one.
